MS Expedition

The 134 passenger capacity 'Expedition' underwent a significant makeover in 2009 to the tune of over seven and a half million pounds and claims to provide space, comfort and expertise on all of the cruises that she sails. Whilst many different expedition cruise lines might aim to focus on just one of these traits, the Expedition nails all three of them, and with only a small group on board, you are sure to get the most out of this life changing experience.

She is especially designed to sail into the heart of the fascinating Polar Regions and has a large number of experienced and knowledgeable crew members on board; one of the highest in the expedition tourism industry. So there are plenty of people around to enlighten and educate you as you go.

There is also a major focus on safety; allowing travellers to venture into some of the more treacherous waters on the surface of the planet without feeling like this is going to create problems. Features such as a forward-facing sonar, icebreaker 1B status and advanced weatherproof clothing for all passengers and crew mean that all safety aspects are covered, and the fact that all cabins provide views of the ocean, either via a porthole or larger window, means that you won’t miss a second of your epic journey.

  • There are 5 types of cabins available on board Expedition.
  • All rooms have ocean-facing views.
  • There are private en-suite facilities in all cabins.
  • Complimentary Wellies are provided for each guest.
  • Guests also receive a complimentary guide of all the destinations they will visit during their cruise.
