Although the expedition ships are well-suited to the waters found within these extreme environments, they can only take you so far. Therefore, if you want to extend your explorations further then the best way of doing this is in a kayak. Discover secretive caves and coves, investigate shallow waters which your ship cannot possibly traverse, and get closer than you ever thought possible to any inquisitive wildlife in the area.
You will be led by experienced guides, given the appropriate safety equipment and only taken out on calm waters. Even if you have never been in a kayak before, there will be plenty of opportunities to get out on the water and experience your intricate surroundings from a unique point of view. Kayaking was actually invented in Greenland and so you will be able to experience it in its spiritual home, as well as many other destinations across both Polar Regions.
